Jury/Witness Leave. Necessary leave shall be allowed by the City Manager to permit any employee to report for duty to serve as a member of a jury or as a non-party witness. The employee shall receive from the Employer as compensation during this leave period the excess of the employee's regular salary over the compensation received by the employee for such jury duty. Employees shall be required to report for work for any portion of their regularly scheduled shift during which they are not actually serving on a jury or waiting to be impaneled.
