Lactation Breaks. 35.1 This clause applies to Employees who are lactating mothers. A lactation break is provided for breastfeeding, expressing milk or other activity necessary to the act of breastfeeding or expressing milk and is in addition to any other rest period and meal break as provided for in this Schedule. 35.2 A full time Employee or a part time Employee working more than 4 hours per day is entitled to a maximum of two paid lactation breaks of up to 30 minutes each per day. 35.3 A part time Employee working 4 hours or less on any one day is entitled to only one paid lactation break of up to 30 minutes on any day so worked. 35.4 A flexible approach to lactation breaks can be taken by mutual agreement between an Employee and their manager provided the total lactation break time entitlement is not exceeded. When giving consideration to any such requests for flexibility, a manager needs to balance the operational requirements of the organisation with the lactating needs of the Employee. 35.5 The Employer shall provide access to a suitable, private space with comfortable seating for the purpose of breastfeeding or expressing milk. 35.6 Other suitable facilities, such as refrigeration and a sink, shall be provided where practicable. Where it is not practicable to provide these facilities, discussions between the manager and Employee will take place to attempt to identify reasonable alternative arrangements for the Employee’s lactation needs. 35.7 Employees experiencing difficulties in effecting the transition from home-based breastfeeding to the workplace will have telephone access in paid time to a free breastfeeding consultative service, such as that provided by the Australian Breastfeeding Association’s Breastfeeding Helpline Service or the Public Health System. 35.8 Employees needing to leave the workplace during time normally required for duty to seek support or treatment in relation to breastfeeding and the transition to the workplace may utilise sick leave in accordance with clause 27, Sick Leave of this Schedule.

Lactation Breaks. Upon reasonable notification from an employee who wants to express breast milk for an infant child, the Court will make reasonable efforts to provide the employee with a private location for that purpose. Subject to the operational needs of the Court, the employee may be required to use their regular break time or such other time as the Court Executive Officer may approve for this purpose.
Lactation Breaks. Breaks for Lactation/Expression of Milk - The District shall not discriminate against, discipline or take any adverse employment action against any employee because such employee has elected to exercise their rights under this section. The District shall provide a reasonable break time for an employee, while individual needs may differ recommended planning is for not less than 15 minutes, to express breast milk each time the employee has a need to express milk. The District shall provide a private location, other than a bathroom, to accommodate the employee’s needs to express milk. The location provided shall be private and free from intrusion and must be functional as a space for expressing milk. Whenever possible the space will include seating, adequate light, a sink with running water, or be as close to a water source as possible that is not a bathroom. Additionally, the district or building administrator shall work with the employee to identify a convenient location and work schedule to accommodate their needs. The district or building administrator shall provide a system for reserving a space. The district or building administrator shall ensure that staff have the ability to access the space independently.
Lactation Breaks. The Employer will work with Bargaining Unit Members to accommodate their need to express breast milk, pursuant to the Nursing Mothers in the Workplace Act, 820 ILCS 260 et seq. Bargaining Unit Member's break time should, if possible, be taken concurrently with other break periods already provided. The Employer will provide the employee with a clean and private space to express breast milk and they will be given access to the staff fridge to store their milk.
Lactation Breaks. EBCHR accommodates lactating employees by providing a reasonable amount of break time to any employee who desires to express breast milk for an infant child. The break time shall, if possible, run concurrently with any break time already provided to the employee. EBCHR will make reasonable efforts to provide employees who need a lactation accommodation with the use of a room or other private location that is located close to the employee's work area. Employees with private offices will be required to use their offices to express breast milk. Employees who desire lactation accommodations should contact their supervisor or the Director of Finance and Operations to request accommodations.

One paid 30-minute lactation break will apply if the employee works up to 4 hours a day and two paid lactation breaks will apply if the employee works more than 4 hours a day. c. Access to a suitable, private space for the purpose of breastfeeding or expressing milk will be made available and can be an office or meeting room. d. Employees who need support or treatment in relation to breastfeeding and the transition to the workplace may utilise the provisions available under Sick Leave To Care For A Family Member.
Lactation Breaks. People who breastfeed may take an extended or additional breaks to express breast milk or to breastfeed their visiting infants.
Lactation Breaks. Epic Academy will provide a reasonable amount of break time to accommodate a female employee’s need to express breast milk for the employee’s infant child. The break time should, if possible, should be taken concurrently with other break periods already provided. Bargaining unit employees will use their best efforts to not take this break time during instructional time. Epic Academy will provide the employee with a clean and private space. The parties acknowledge that this space may be shared space, but not at the same time.
