Common use of Lactation Breaks Clause in Contracts

Lactation Breaks. The Employer will work with Bargaining Unit Members to accommodate their need to express breast milk, pursuant to the Nursing Mothers in the Workplace Act, 820 ILCS 260 et seq. Bargaining Unit Member's break time should, if possible, be taken concurrently with other break periods already provided. The Employer will provide the employee with a clean and private space to express breast milk and they will be given access to the staff fridge to store their milk.
