The Landlord will fulfil his obligations to ensure that The Property meets the Repairing Standards as set out in Section 13 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 in respect of properties in Scotland and Repairing Obligations as set out in Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 for properties in England, together with any other statutory re-enactment thereof and all other statutory obligations. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring The Property has satisfactory provision for detecting fires and for giving warning in the event of fire or suspected fire. There should be at least one smoke alarm fitted in each habitable room and in each hallway or landing and one heat alarm fitted in each kitchen. All smoke and heat alarms should be interlinked.
