Lay-Off/Resignation of ERT Members. If ERT member(s) are laid off their particular shift or voluntarily accept a job posting on another shift or change shifts on a permanent basis, they will forfeit their status as an ERT member. However, former ERT members will be eligible to apply pursuant to Article 20(c)

Lay-Off/Resignation of ERT Members. If ERT member(s) are laid off their particular shift or voluntarily accept a job posting on another shift or change shifts on a permanent basis, they will forfeit their status as an ERT member. However, former ERT members will be eligible to apply pursuant to Article 20(c)) (iii) above, to the ERT, if a vacancy occurs on their shift as specified above. Any ERT member who voluntarily resigns without a satisfactory reason or who fails to successfully complete his/her ERT training period will not be eligible for consideration for re-appointment.
