Common use of Leave Conversion Clause in Contracts

Leave Conversion. The receiving employee will be paid his or her regular rate of pay; therefore, one (1) hour of shared leave may cover more or less than one (1) hour of the recipient’s salary. The dollar value of the leave is converted from the donor to the recipient. Unused shared leave will be credited back to the donor at the donor’s rate of pay.
