Compensated LeaveAny employee summoned for duty shall be entitled to a Jury Duty Absence with full pay for such period of time as may be required to attend court in response to such summons. The employee may retain such payments as may be allowed for travel, lodging and meal expenses; but as a condition for entitlement to court leave, said employee shall not be entitled to any and all fees as payment for services as a juror or witness. Any such payment(s) shall be made payable to the County of Mendocino.
Compensated Leave. [A] MANAGER will receive compensated leave as provided in the Executive Resolution of CITY, including Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Service-connected Disability Leave, Court Leave, Military Leave and Leave of Absence. [B] Accrued but unused Annual Leave and Sick Leave will be carried over year to year. Upon MANAGER’s resignation or termination of employment, MANAGER will be entitled to full compensation for the accrued, unused Annual Leave, Sick Leave and Personal Leave. MANAGER may convert all unused Sick Leave upon resignation or termination of employment to cash, post-retirement medical payments or deferred compensation.

The teacher will inform the principal in writing of the exact time the substitute is needed for coverage, as soon as feasible after requesting a substitute. 2. The principal will assign the substitute duties for the time he/she is not needed for leave coverage.
Compensated Leave. A. The Superintendent shall receive twelve (12) sick leave days per year. 1. Sick leave days may be accumulated to two hundred (200) days. B. Up to five (5) days, without loss of pay, may be used upon the death of a spouse, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild, or brother or sister of the Superintendent or his wife. 1. Additional time deducted from sick leave days may be used. C. Upon retirement or termination of employment, after five (5) or more years of service to the District in an administrative capacity, the Superintendent shall be compensated at the rate of fifty ($50) dollars per day for unused sick leave days, accumulated up to two hundred (200) days.
