Leave for Civil Service Examination; Interviews. Upon the request of an Employee, the Sheriff shall grant leave with pay for the purpose of taking a civil service examination, provided that the examination is for employment with the County and also cannot be scheduled during non-working hours. This Section shall apply to written, oral and performance tests, physical examinations and reviews. Employees called for an interview for possible inter-departmental transfer within the County service will be allowed time off with pay for such purpose.

Leave for Civil Service Examination; Interviews. Upon the request of an Employee, a Unit Head shall grant leave with pay for the purpose of taking a civil service examination, provided that the examination is for employment with the County and also cannot be scheduled during non-working hours. This Section shall apply to written, oral and performance tests, physical examinations and reviews. Employees called for an interview for possible inter-departmental transfer within the County service or an exit interview prior to leaving County service will be allowed time off with pay for such purpose.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.
