Time Off With Pay. (a) As per Article 1, Section 5 of the Contract, Union Shop Stewards shall be released for a maximum of two (2) hours off with pay, each month, to attend union meetings. There shall be a maximum of two (2) such meetings per month. The unused time shall not accrue from month to month. (b) Stewards shall be paid for time away from work to represent grievants from their respective departments in Steps 1, 2 and 3 of the Grievance Procedure. (c) The Local President and Union Officials shall be paid for time absent from work to present grievances in the Steps 2 and 3 of the Grievance Procedure at the request of the xxxxxxx or aggrieved member in the department in which the grievance arose. (d) Union members shall be paid for time spent in meetings requested by the University.
Time Off With Pay. An employee serving on jury duty shall receive time off with pay provided the employee reimburses the Employer the jury pay received less mileage. An employee shall return to work daily when released from jury duty.

Time Off With Pay. In Lieu of Overtime‌ Employees may accumulate in-lieu time to a maximum of 200 hours for 40-hour assignments or 280 hours for 56-hour assignments. Union members engaged in the above activities will not leave their workstations without the prior approval of their supervisors, and will notify their supervisors upon return to work stations.
