Common use of Leave for Family Illness Clause in Contracts

Leave for Family Illness. In the case of illness of an Employee’s immediate family, meaning husband, wife, son, daughter, father or mother, who permanently reside with the Employee and when no one at home other than the Employee can provide for the needs of the ill person, the Employee may be granted, after notifying his immediate supervisor, leave with pay up to three (3) days per calendar year, which shall be deducted from the Employees sick leave entitlement as provided under Article 22.01.

Leave for Family Illness. In the case of illness of a member of an Employeeemployee’s immediate familyfamily as defined in Article 20.10 (a), meaning husband, wife, son, daughter, father or mother, who permanently reside in the case of another relation living with the Employee and when employee, for whose needs no one at home other than except the Employee employee can provide for the needs of the ill personprovide, the Employee employee may be granted, upon approval, after notifying his immediate supervisorher Executive Director or delegated official, leave with without loss of pay up to three twenty-four (324) days hours per calendar year, which shall annum. Such leave will be deducted from the Employees debited against sick leave entitlement as provided under Article 22.01credits.
