Common use of Leave for Taking Courses Clause in Contracts

Leave for Taking Courses. (a) An employee shall be granted leave with pay to take courses at the request or approval of the Commission. The Commission shall bear the full cost of the course, including tuition fees, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-required books, necessary travelling and subsistence expenses, and other legitimate expenses where applicable. Fees are to be paid by the Commission when due. (b) A regular employee may be granted leave without pay, or leave with partial pay, to take courses in which the employee wishes to enroll. (c) Tuition fees for approved courses which lead to a diploma or a degree shall be reimbursed in the amount of 75% (d) (c) Termination of employment will nullify any obligation of assistance by the Commission
