Eligible Courses. A. All courses offered for dual credit by Hill College will be either college-level academic courses, identified from the current edition of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Lower-Division Academic Course Guide Manual or college-level workforce education courses, identified from the current edition of the Workforce Education Course Manual.
B. A college course offered for dual credit must be: (A) in the core curriculum of the public institution of higher education providing the credit; (B) a career and technical education course; (C) a foreign language course; or (D) a college pathway course that satisfies specific degree plan requirements leading to the completion of a Board approved certificate, AA, AS, AAS degree program, or FOSC.
C. Developmental or remedial courses may not be offered for dual credit. ISD is encouraged to partner with Hill College (as required by House Xxxx 5, 83rd Texas Legislature) to develop and provide courses in college preparatory mathematics and English language arts to prepare student for success in entry-level college courses (See HB 5 MOU)
D. The ISD will work closely with the Hill College dual credit representative to ensure that the college offers an adequate number of courses and/or sections. The feasibility of offering specific courses will be negotiated by Hill College and high school personnel.
E. A complete list of dual credit courses taught within this school district, as well as a crosswalk, will be maintained on file in the Vice President of Instruction Office.
Eligible Courses. College courses that are academic or career technical and that simultaneously earn credit toward high school graduation and a postsecondary degree or certificate shall be eligible for dual credit.
Eligible Courses. All courses offered for dual credit will be identified as college-level academic courses in the current edition of the Lower Division Academic Course Guide Manual or as a college level technical course in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or certificate program. Collin College does not offer physical education activity courses for dual credit. Courses listed in the attached Appendix B have been approved for the 2020-2021 academic year. A course equivalency crosswalk that identifies the number of credits that may be earned for each course completed through the dual credit program in the attached Appendix C has been approved for the 2020-2021 academic year. Programs listed in the attached Appendix D have been approved for the 2020-2021 academic year. Additional courses may be added with approval from the Independent School District (ISD) and Collin College. An addendum will be created if three or more additional courses are requested by the ISD. COURSE CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION, AND GRADING The college will ensure that a dual credit course and the corresponding course offered at the main campus of the college are equivalent with respect to the curriculum, materials, instruction, and method/rigor of student evaluation. These standards will be upheld regardless of the student composition of the class. Students will be expected to meet all requirements of the dual credit and concurrent enrollment class and will receive letter grades on their Collin College transcript. College faculty will provide numeric grades at the end of the semester to be weighted or factored into the student's high school grade point average as determined by the high school district. Mid-term grades will be provided upon request. Faculty members teaching dual credit courses will alert both the college liaison and the designated high school counselor of any students having academic difficulty. Faculty are conscious of FERPA guidelines when communicating with students about grades. Grade information is not provided over the phone or via non-college e-mail. Currently grades of A, B, C, D, F, and I are awarded by faculty to each student on their college transcript. Grades of “I” are only temporary and must be resolved by the end of the next long semester. Numeric grades are also provided to the high school. Eligible Courses. A. All courses offered for dual credit by NTCC will be either college-level, core curriculum courses, college-level courses that lead to a level-1 certificate, or any college-level foreign language course. College courses can be one to four credit hours depending on the class.
B. Developmental or remedial courses will not be eligible for dual credit.
C. Non-credit continuing education courses are available to high school students who meet the program requirements, but these types of courses are not FAST eligible.
D. Each school district will work closely with the Director of Dual Credit, to ensure that the college offers an adequate number of courses and/or sections. The feasibility of offering specific courses will be negotiated among the appropriate college and high school personnel.
Eligible Courses. The college-level academic courses will comply with the rules and regulations of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). All college-level academic courses will adhere to the description and content of the course as defined in the current edition of either the Academic Course Guide Manual (ACGM) or the Workforce Education Course Manual (WECM). Courses will provide advanced academic instruction and content that provides the student the opportunity to master the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for the appropriate high school course. Developmental education courses are not approved for dual credit. Appendix A lists the courses offered by Brazosport College for dual credit.
Eligible Courses a. The College will evaluate courses offered for dual credit and will approve them through the curriculum approval process in accordance to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (“THECB”) requirements.
b. Courses offered for dual course credit must be identified as college-level academic courses in the current edition of the Lower Division Academic Course Guide Manual or as college-level workforce education courses in the current edition of the Workforce Education Course Manual.
c. Courses offered for dual credit are in the College’s approved undergraduate course inventory. The Course Crosswalk is a dynamic document that may be amended (See Schedule 3–Course Crosswalk).
d. Remedial and developmental courses are not offered for dual credit.
e. Specific course offerings will be determined collaboratively by the College and School.
f. The College will only waive tuition for courses that are reimbursed by the state including:
i. a course in the College’s core curriculum;
ii. a course offered by the College providing credit in a field of study curriculum developed by the THECB under Texas Education Code § 61.823, or a program of study curriculum established by THECB under Texas Education Code § 61.8235;
iii. a career and technical education course that applies to any certificate of associate’s degree offered by the institution providing course credit; or
iv. a foreign language course.

Eligible Courses. All courses offered for dual credit will be identified as college-level academic courses in the current edition of the Lower Division Academic Course Guide Manual or as a college level technical course in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or certificate program. Collin College does not offer kinesiology (KINE) courses for dual credit. A course equivalency crosswalk that identifies the number of credits that may be earned for each course completed through the dual credit program in the attached Appendix B has been approved for the 2022- 2023 academic year. Programs listed in the attached Appendix C have been approved for the 2022-2023 academic year. Additional courses may be added with approval from Cornerstone Christian and Collin College. An addendum will be created if three or more additional courses are requested by Cornerstone Christian.
Eligible Courses. (1) Courses offered for credit where instruction is provided to high school students for the awarding of both high school academic requirements and college semester credit hours apply to the core curriculum, career and technology education courses toward a TCC career and technology Certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree, a foreign language, or a course that satisfies specific degree plan requirements leading to the completion of a TCCD Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science Field of Study or Program of Study.
(2) Courses offered for dual credit by TCC must be identified as college-level academic courses in the current edition of the Lower Division Academic Course Guide Manual (ACGM) adopted by the Board, or as college-level workforce education courses in the current edition of the Workforce Education Course Manual (WECM) adopted by the Board.
(3) Courses offered for dual credit by TCC must be in the approved undergraduate course inventory of the college.
(4) In accordance with the THECB rules, TCC does not offer remedial and developmental courses for dual credit.
Eligible Courses. 1. Courses approved for MCC Dual Credit for a high school student must be foreign language, in the MCC core curriculum, in a state-approved Field of Study curriculum, in the WECM, or an ACGM course with one of the following rubrics: ACCT, AGRI, ARCH, BCIS, BUSI, COSC, CRIJ, ENGR, ENGT, FORE, FORS, HORT, RNSG. [TAC 19, Part 1, Chapter 4, Subchapter D, §4.85, (i)(2)]
2. Courses approved for dual credit for a high school student must be applicable to a college certificate or degree.
3. This agreement does not apply to MCC Continuing Education courses.
4. See Appendix A for the crosswalk of MCC courses accepted by the High School with the corresponding high school course information. The High School may add courses to be articulated for credit by submitting an addendum to this agreement at any time during the academic year.
5. The sequence of courses below is recommended for High School students beginning dual credit in grade nine (9) with the intent of students earning an associate degree by high school graduation.
