Common use of Leave for Traditional Ceremonies Clause in Contracts

Leave for Traditional Ceremonies. Upon written notice to the employee’s supervisor, an employee may be granted up to seven (7) working days with pay for the purpose of participating in traditional First Nations ceremonies. Such leaves will not be unreasonably denied. The employee member shall make every effort to give the longest possible notice of such leaves.
