Leave Respecting Domestic or Sexual Violence. ‌ If a staff member or their child is a victim of domestic or sexual violence then a leave request will be granted under the Employment Standards Act, Part 6, Section 52.5. The employee is entitled to up to five (5) days of paid leave, and up to five (5) days of unpaid leave, and up to fifteen (15) weeks of additional unpaid leave during each calendar year.

Notwithstanding Clause 11.03, there will be no interruption in the accrual of seniority for regular employees or eligibility for benefits provided for under Article 30.
