Immediate family is defined as anyone living in the same household, spouse, children, parents, in-laws and siblings. 3. Any employee absent may be requested to present documentation at any time to justify their absence and/or their return to the workplace. 4. At the beginning of each school year, the annual amount of sick leave (up to 10 days) and any prior year personal days directed to be converted to sick leave (up to 4 days) shall be added to the employee’s end-of-year accumulated sick leave days (not to exceed 72 days).
