Common use of Leave With Pay for Family-Related Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Leave With Pay for Family-Related Responsibilities. (a) For the purpose of this clause, family is defined as spouse (including common-law partner), children (including xxxxxx-children, step children and children of legal or common-law partner and xxxx of the employee), parents (including stepparents or xxxxxx parents), father –in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, grandparents and grandchildren of the employee, any relative permanently residing in the employee's household or with whom the employee permanently resides, or any relative for whom the employee has a duty of care, irrespective of whether they reside with the employee.
