Leave Without Pay for Union Business. a) The Government agrees that on at least forty-eight (48) hours notice in writing to the administrative head, leave of absence without pay, but with maintenance of seniority and superannuation rights, shall be given to any designated employee or employees for the purpose of conducting union business. b) The administrative head may waive any portion of the notice period.

Leave Without Pay for Union Business. β€Œ a) The Government agrees that on at least forty-eight (48) hours notice excluding weekends and statutory holidays in writing to the administrative head, leave of absence without pay, but with maintenance of seniority and superannuation rights, shall be given to any designated employee or employees for the purpose of conducting union business. b) The Union agrees to provide as much advance notice as possible to the Employer for union leave. c) The administrative head may waive any portion of the notice period.
