Level One – Informal Dialogue a. A faculty member shall within ten (10) working days of having knowledge of a grievance, orally discuss the matter with the appropriate College administrator with the objective of resolving the matter informally. If the aggrieved is not satisfied with the disposition from the oral discussion(s) and he/she wishes to further pursue the matter, he/she shall file the grievance in writing to that appropriate administrator. The written grievance must be submitted within five (5) working days following date of oral discussion(s). Copies shall be submitted by the aggrieved to the Assistant to the General Counsel and the Association.

  • Processing Grievances The grievant shall be granted reasonable time off with pay from regularly scheduled duty hours to process a grievance, provided that the time off will be devoted to the prompt and efficient investigation and handling of grievances, subject to the following:
