Level One - Informal. Within twenty (20) workdays after the grievant knew or could reasonably have known of the event or condition upon which the alleged grievance is based, the grievant shall meet with the appropriate supervising administrator to attempt to resolve the alleged grievance. There will be no meetings during school recess periods unless mutually agreed upon by the grievant and the District.
Level One - Informal. A member of the bargaining unit with a grievance may initiate this procedure within thirty (30) days of the alleged occurrence of the violation if known or if the employee should have known, in one of the following ways:
Level One - Informal. Any employee who has a grievance shall first discuss it with his/her appropriate supervisor/administrator.
Level One - Informal. A. An employee with a grievance shall first discuss it with the principal or immediate administrative supervisor with the objective of resolving the matter informally. Such discussions shall commence within fifteen (15) school days of the alleged occurrence of the grievance.
Level One - Informal. Within ten (10) days of a condition or knowledge of a condition that a teacher considers a grievance, he/she shall discuss the problem with his/her immediate supervisor, or with the member of the administration whose action or inaction created the situation in an attempt to resolve the problem without filing a formal grievance. He/she may do this alone or with his/her official Association representative.
Level One - Informal. The aggrieved person shall first notify the person(s) with whom they have the grievance or their supervisor, of a Level One grievance. Notification shall outline attempts to resolve the matter informally by discussing the issue with the person(s) or supervisor within thirty (30) working days after becoming aware of the act or condition upon which the grievance is based. The teacher(s) may attempt resolution personally or may be represented by the association.
Level One - Informal. An employee with a grievance shall first discuss the problem with his or her immediate administrative supervisor. The immediate administrative supervisor shall be the supervisor of buildings and grounds.
Level One - Informal. Within thirty (30) days of knowledge of an event or condition that an individual considers a grievance, he/she shall discuss the problem with the appropriate supervisor. He/She may do this alone or with his/her official Association representative.
Level One - Informal. Any employee who has a grievance shall first submit a written request for an informal meeting setting forth the basis of the grievance. During the informal meeting, the employee shall discuss the grievance with his/her appropriate supervisor/administrator and a Union Representative. The date of the meeting shall be the date used by the parties to calculate any response time.
Level One - Informal. An employee having an alleged grievance shall first discuss such grievance informally with his/her immediate supervisor. The problem shall have been discussed within five (5) working days after the alleged grievance occurred. This is the most important level in the grievance procedure. Every effort should be made to resolve the grievance at this level.
