Liability of the Guest. The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for damage caused through intent or negligence on part of the Guest.

The Guest shall further indemnify the Carrier and each and all of their agents or servants against all liability whatsoever arising from any personal injury, death or damage or loss whatsoever caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by any willful or negligent act or omission on the part of the Guest or those for whom the Guest is responsible.
Liability of the Guest. 6.1 Losses in the hotel room and damages thereof occurring during the contract period shall be assumed to have been culpably caused by the Guest unless the damage demonstrably lies in the Hotel’s area of responsibility or has proven to be caused by a third party.
6.2 Insofar as the Hotel provides technical or other equipment from third parties for and at the request of the Guest, the Guest shall be liable for the careful handling and proper return of the equipment and indemnifies the Hotel from any third-party claims arising from the provision.

Smoking is prohibited by the law all the times in the hotel other than the specified guestrooms and smoking areas. In the event of smoke hazards including a sticky odor due to smoking or smoking electronic cigarettes, irrespective of whether smoking intentionally or negligently, the guest or his/her agents shall be responsible for actual cost for removing odor and incurred loss for the number of unavailable days. The guest or his/her agents, however, shall compensate the hotel for damages due to infectious diseases deemed to have been brought into the hotel premises through intention or negligence on the part of the guest, except in the case of force majeure as public health emergencies(only in the event that World Health Organization issues an alert relating to pandemic phase 6, and Japanese public health authorities respond to the alert.) stipulated in Article 20.
Liability of the Guest. HV.Hotel may, in its sole discretion, take an action (including legal proceedings) and claim against:
(a) the Guest pursuant to the provisions of clause 3.1(c); or
(b) the Guest and/or any or all other relevant Guests notwithstanding the provisions of clause 3.1(c), for all acts and omissions, breach of this Agreement and all other liability under this Agreement, in equity or at law, of the Guest and/or any other Guests.

Liability of the Guest. If the Facility, employees of the Facility, the owner of the Facility, or a third party suffers damage due to the willful misconduct or negligence of a Guest, the said Guest shall compensate the Facility and others for the damage.
