Licensing Committee. Each Authority will continue to have a distinct Committee for the purposes of Licensing decisions. This does not extend to any other policy matters. • Support Constitutional and procedural advice will remain the responsibility of each Authority’s legal service, to maintain the in-house knowledge and consistency that members expect and that is appropriate for local accountability. This is also the case for all meeting administration. • Sub-Committees Elected Members will continue to have full control for their delegated functions. The Joint Service Delivery will ensure that each and every case referred to the appropriate Sub-Committee is properly made and in accordance with the requirements of the relevant legislation. • Appeals/Challenges to Committee Decisions Each Authority is responsible for its own Members decisions. Any support required to defend a decision will be provided by the originating Authority with technical Licensing advice from the Joint Service Delivery.

The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall report their views on the progress of the Project to the Steering Committee in writing if requested by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall attend all meetings of the Steering Committee unless otherwise agreed by the Department.

  • Joint Steering Committee [***] following the Effective Date [***], a joint steering committee (the “JSC”) will be established by the Parties to provide oversight and to facilitate information sharing between the Parties with respect to the activities under this Agreement.

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Standing Committee Standing Committees shall be maintained in the following manner:

  • Negotiating Committee The Hospital agrees to recognize a Negotiating Committee comprised of representatives of the Association for the purpose of negotiating a renewal agreement. The number of nurses on the Negotiating Committee is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. The Hospital agrees to pay members of the Negotiating Committee for time spent during regular working hours in negotiations with the Hospital for a renewal agreement up to, but not including, arbitration.

  • Local Negotiating Committee (a) A negotiating committee of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the union including the bargaining unit president.
