The arrangements for the provision and maintenance of sufficient and appropriately qualified, trained and experienced Staff in order for the ICB to fulfil its responsibilities for each of the Delegated Functions (“the Staffing Model”), will be communicated formally to the ICB by NHS England following recommendations made by the National Moderation Panel.
Integrating dentistry into communities at Primary Care Network level The ICB must exercise the Delegated Functions with a view to achieving greater integration of dentists into the Integrated Care System at the Primary Care Network level.
Transparency and freedom of information The ICB must: respond to requests for information from members of the public and the media, including requests made pursuant to the FOIA, whose subject-matter relates to the performance of the Delegated Functions in the ICB’s Area; and provide information and assistance as required to support NHS England in the preparation of responses to parliamentary questions in connection with the Delegated Functions.
The ICB must procure, and undertake the management and monitoring of contracts for the provision of, such ancillary support services as are required to support the ICB in the effective discharge of the Delegated Functions, including, but not limited to the following: provision of translation and interpretation services; and occupational health services.
The ICB must give due consideration to whether any of the Delegated Functions should be exercised collaboratively with other NHS bodies or Local Authorities including, without limitation, by means of arrangements under section 65Z5 and section 75 of the NHS Act.
