Lighting Design Analysis Report. The CONSULTANT shall prepare a preliminary lighting design analysis report. The report shall be submitted under a separate cover with the 60% plans submittal. The report shall provide analyses for each typical section of the mainline. Each lighting calculation shall be properly identified as to the area that it covers. The report shall include the lighting design criteria that will be used. The report shall also include the lighting calculations for each lighted sign. The lighting design analysis report shall include:  Voltage drop calculations  Load analysis calculations for each branch circuit

Lighting Design Analysis Report. The CONSULTANT shall prepare a Preliminary Lighting Design Analysis Report. The report shall be submitted under a separate cover with the Constructability Phase plans submittal. The report shall provide analyses for each typical section of the mainline, typical section for the ramps (one and/or two lanes), interchanges, underdeck lighting, and arterial roads. Each lighting calculation shall be properly identified as to the area that it covers. The report shall include the Lighting Design Criteria that will be used and shall include the evaluation of at least three lighting design alternatives and a recommendation on the alternative to use. Each alternative shall be properly described; the alternatives shall consider different pole heights, lamp wattage, and arm lengths. Each alternative shall be provided with a cost estimate that includes initial cost in addition to operations and maintenance cost for one year. The report shall also include the lighting calculations for each lighted sign. After approval of the preliminary report, the CONSULTANT shall submit a revised report for each submittal.
