LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. Contractor shall complete underground utilities in accordance with the requirements listed in Part 2 and 2a of the RFP for each task order.
LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. It shall be the Client's responsibility to locate and physically mark all underground utilities and structures which lie within the work area prior to the start of subsurface investigations. If the Client elects not to assume this responsibility, Client shall notify Consultant and shall compensate Consultant for all costs associated with locating and physically marking said underground utilities and structures over and above the estimated project fee. Client shall indemnify and hold Consultant harmless from any damages and delays resulting from unmarked or improperly marked underground utilities and structures. For reasons of safety, Consultant will not begin work until this has been accomplished.
