Common use of Longevity Differential Clause in Contracts

Longevity Differential. Permanent, full-time and part-time employees who have completed twenty (20) years of Contra Costa County service will receive a two percent (2%) longevity differential effective on the first day of the month following the month in which the employee qualifies for the twenty (20) year service award. For those employees who completed twenty (20) years of service on or before November 1, 2012, this longevity differential will be paid prospectively only from November 1, 2012.
