Longevity-Merit Pay. Existing bargaining units with eligible employees who have elected this plan will receive a wage increase of 1.5% above Step 10 upon completing 15 years of service with the County, and a 3.0% increase (not cumulative with the 1.5% increase after 15 years) above Step 10 upon completing 20 years of service with the County; provided, however, that an employee is eligible for the above Step 10 premium only if they receive at least a 3.25 rating on the prior year’s performance evaluation. For purposes of this provision, years of service shall be based on the employee’s Adjusted Service Date as that term is defined in the King County Personnel Guidelines. The requirement that the employee earn at least a 3.25 rating on the performance evaluation shall be waived for any year in which the employee did not receive a performance evaluation prior to the start of the calendar year. There shall be no limit or quota on the number of employees eligible to receive this wage premium above Step 10.

  • Longevity Pay If an employee leaves State Classified employment and later is rehired, he/she shall receive no longevity pay. However, once such a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for longevity pay.   • Longevity Payments (a) Longevity payments as set out in the salary schedule in Appendix A-1 (Interest Arbitration ineligible employees) and Appendix A-2 (Interest Arbitration eligible employees) will be provided to eligible employees upon completion of 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of continuous service. (d) Such longevity payments will be added to and considered part of base pay for all purposes except for determining an employee's change in salary upon movement to a different salary grade and his potential for movement to the job rate of the new grade, after which determination the appropriate longevity payments will be restored. (e) The longevity amount for all employees will be adjusted to reflect the longevity payments which are appropriate to their current salary grade.

  • Longevity Any full-time employee who has completed ten years of continuous service shall be paid, in addition to his/her normal salary, the sum of $300.00 annually and an additional $300.00 for each additional five years of continuous service. An employee shall be eligible to receive this payment if his/her anniversary date is on or before December 1. The longevity payment shall be paid in the employee's first paycheck received in December. An employee who retires or terminates prior to December 1, but after his/her anniversary date, which is on or after December 2, will be entitled to the appropriate longevity payment upon retirement or termination.

  • Longevity Bonus After twenty (20) years of continuous service, an employee will receive a longevity bonus of seven hundred dollars ($700) per year, payable in one lump sum by the second pay period following the employee's anniversary date.
