Common use of Loss of Specials Planning Time Clause in Contracts

Loss of Specials Planning Time. If an Instructional Employee loses plan time because a substitute cannot be obtained for the specials teacher (defined as a teacher assigned to teach art, music and physical education), the Instructional Employee who loses plan time will receive $20.00 for that period. In addition, if an Instructional Employee’s weekly planning time falls below the minutes required by Article 10.01 due to the loss of computer tech time, the Instructional Employee who lost plan time will receive $20.00 for that period.
