Main Pool Drivers. When the dispatch centre receives a call, the drivers first out at that location will be dispatched. If the driver first out is on rest or unavailable then the driver occupying the next main board position will be utilized. The dispatch centre will repeat this process until they reach the next available driver. Once the agreed Location Rotation Amount has been reached, the driver will be rotated on the board. The Location Rotation Amount is included in Schedule 2. Any Main Pool Driver who does not regularly make himself available may be subject to discipline up to and including potentially losing his position as a Main Pool Driver. The main board size may be increased or decreased based on trip volumes and/or the availability of drivers (taking in account availability and days off) in a specific location and in order for the Company to meet its contractual requirements with its clients. The principles of seniority will apply for expansion or contraction of main board. The Union will be promptly notified of all changes in the size of main boards.
