Annual Leave Loading definition

Annual Leave Loading shall continue to apply. In addition to the provisions contained in the above mentioned Award clauses, employees must complete an 'Indicative Annual Leave Request Form' at the beginning of each financial year indicating when during that financial year they intend to take annual leave. The purpose of completing the form is to ensure accumulated accrued leave as well as current leave being accumulated is being taken.

Annual Leave Loading means accrued annual leave taken during this agreement will attract a loading in accordance with the following formula: ((Base Salary / 52) - $10.80) x 0.25 This loading will apply to each week of leave taken. This loading will be paid pro rata on leave durations of less than one full week. In this Agreement: Words importing the singular shall include the plural; and Words importing the male gender shall include the female gender.

  • Payment of the Annual Leave Loading is to be made at the same time as payment for such leave.
