Maintaining the Catastrophic Leave Bank. 12.12.1 The Catastrophic Leave Bank shall maintain a minimum amount of 320 hours or about forty (40) days by July 15 of each year. If determined that the bank requires replenishment, current members of the bank will be required to donate another sick or vacation day by the end of the open enrollment period in order to enroll or maintain membership.

Maintaining the Catastrophic Leave Bank. 12.12.1 The Health & Welfare Committee will review the number of days in the Bank on a quarterly basis following the Payroll Office accounting report to determine if further donations from members are required to replenish the Bank. If determined by the Committee that the Bank requires more leave donations to maintain effectiveness, the Committee will announce this need prior to the catastrophic leave open enrollment period of May 1 – July 15. Once determined that the Bank requires replenishment, current members will be required to donate another sick or vacation day by the end of the open enrollment period in order to enroll or maintain membership.
