MANDATORY COURT APPEARANCES AND JURY DUTY. The Board shall grant a unit member leave for jury duty. The unit member shall receive his/her regular rate of pay and shall be required to notify the Treasurer’s office regarding the amount of monies received from the court less expenses, and pay such amount to the Treasurer, as requested. Members required to appear in court by subpoena as a result of the performance of regular teaching or supplemental duties, will be granted leave with pay except when the court appearance is for the purpose of testimony or participation in a matter or proceeding adverse to the Board of Education.
