Mandatory Mess. All uniformed personnel shall participate in a Mandatory Mess unless religious, dietary, medical considerations, or other good causes as determined by the Fire Chief preclude them from participating.

Mandatory Mess. All EMPLOYEES covered by this agreement shall participate in a mandatory meal mess. Such arrangement will be administered by the ASSOCIATION in accordance with applicable laws. The Fire Department intends to continue the practice of providing meals during major incidents when personnel cannot be released for meal breaks.
Mandatory Mess. All members of the fire suppression unit on shift shall participate in a mandatory mess. Exceptions to this Article shall only be allowed for religious, dietary or medical reasons. Except for unusual circumstances and emergencies, one member of the crew shall be allowed to xxxx and prepare meals during normal work hours. Such arrangement will be administered by the ASSOCIATION in accordance with applicable laws. Employees will be responsible for all tax consequences, where applicable. This section shall not be subject to the grievance procedure.

Contractor’s assistance includes, but is not limited to, providing professional consultations, attending mediations, arbitrations, depositions, trials or any event related to the dispute resolution and/or litigation.
