Maximum Accrual Cap Provisions. ‌ A total of no more than nine hundred sixty hours (960) of sick leave may be credited to an employee. Employees whose sick leave bank balance is at the Maximum Accrual Cap of each year shall continue to accrue hours at the normal rate for utilization only during that year. All sick leave not taken in excess of these hours will be forfeited at the beginning of the first full pay period of the subsequent calendar year.
