Meal/Rest Periods. Meal periods and rest periods will be administered in accordance with state law (WAC 296-126-092). Employees will be allowed an unpaid meal period of one-half (1/2) hour when working five hours or more. Employees required by the Employer to remain on duty during their meal period will be compensated for such time at the appropriate rate of pay. All employees will be allowed one rest period totaling fifteen (15) minutes on the Employer’s time, for each four (4) hours of working time, which may be taken intermittently based on scheduling requirements of the unit.
