Mechanics’ Schedules. At the beginning of the school year, the mechanics shall be assigned a regular schedule consisting of eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday. During the summer months when school is not in session, with the mutual agreement between the mechanics and the Transportation Supervisor, mechanics may be assigned to a schedule of four (4) consecutive work days consisting of ten (10) hours per day, Monday through Thursday. In the event a mechanic is required to work outside of his/her regular schedule, the mechanic’s regular schedule shall not be altered or reduced to avoid the payment of overtime.
