Media Destruction Sample Clauses

The Media Destruction clause outlines the requirements and procedures for securely disposing of physical or electronic media that contains sensitive or confidential information. Typically, this clause specifies the methods of destruction, such as shredding, degaussing, or wiping, and may require certification or documentation to confirm that the media has been properly destroyed. Its core practical function is to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data by ensuring that all media is rendered unreadable and unrecoverable at the end of its useful life or upon contract termination.
