Medical Coverage and Extended Health Benefits. The Major Medical plan is designed to complement the various Provincial Government Medicare Programs. It provides the employee and members of the employee’s immediate family with coverage for Medical expenses resulting from illness or injury. The employer shall pay 100% of the full premium costs for this Plan. Eligibility: Compulsory for full-time employees effective the first day of third month following the first day of work as a full time employee. [For description of medical coverage, see Plans]
