Medical Institution. Any facility, including IMDs providing FFP qualifying services, that is engaged in the delivery of health care services and is authorized to do so by the state in which those services are delivered. Medical Institution means an institution that: 1.23.1. Is organized to provide medical care, including medical, surgical, psychiatric, nursing and convalescent care; 1.23.2. Has the necessary professional personnel, equipment, and facilities to manage the medical, nursing, and other health needs of patients on a continuing basis in accordance with accepted standards; 1.23.3. Is authorized under State law to provide medical care; 1.23.4. Is staffed by professional personnel who are responsible to the institution for professional medical and nursing services. The services must include adequate and continual medical care and supervision by a physician; registered nurse or licensed practical nurse supervision and services and nurses’ aid services, sufficient to meet nursing care needs; and a physician’s guidance on the professional aspects of operating the institution; and 1.23.5. Services are rendered on a non-secure xxxx.

  • Medical Insurance The Company shall provide to Executive, Executive's spouse and children, at its sole cost, such health, dental and optical insurance as the Company may from time to time make available to its other executive employees.

  • Retiree Medical Insurance Retiree insurance coverage is included within each medical plan for all retirees under the age of 65 years, through self-payment. The Employer shall make available an appropriate medical plan for all eligible retirees ages 65 years or older.

  • Optical Insurance 1. The Board shall provide Group I employees a vision plan comparable to the VSP 3 plan. 2. The Board shall provide Group II employees a vision plan comparable to the VSP 1 plan.

  • Basic Medical Insurance All regular Employees may choose to be covered by the medical plan for which the British Columbia Medical Plan is the licensed carrier. Benefits and premiums shall be in accordance with the existing policy of the plan. The Employer will pay one hundred percent (100%) of the regular premium.

  • Medical Care Leave An Employee who is unable to make the necessary arrangements for maintenance of personal health care outside of scheduled work time, shall be granted time off with pay. Such time off shall not exceed sixteen (16) working hours per calendar year. Hours in excess of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year shall be deducted from the Employee's sick leave accumulation.

  • Affected Financial Institution No Loan Party is an Affected Financial Institution.

  • Blood Donations An employee may be granted leave with pay, up to a maximum of two (2) hours, for donating blood during regularly scheduled hours of work.

  • HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.

  • SCHOOL ACT APPEALS 1 Where a pupil and/or parent/guardian files an appeal under the School Act and Board By-law of a decision of an employee covered by this Agreement: a. the employee and the Association shall immediately be notified of the appeal, and shall be entitled to receive all documents relating to the appeal; b. the employee shall have a right to be present, and/or to have union representation at the hearing of the Appeal Committee; and c. the employee shall have the opportunity to provide a written submission with respect to the appeal.

  • Key Person Life Insurance The Company will maintain key person life insurance in an amount not less than $1,200,000 on the life of E. Xxxxxxx Xxxxx and pay the annual premiums therefor naming the Company as the sole beneficiary thereof for at least three years following the Effective Date.
