Medical Professionals and Medical Assistants. After consultation with Client, Novia shall contract with one (1) or more Medical Professionals, which shall include at least one (1) physician, and one (1) or more Medical Assistants to perform the Medical Services at the Clinic for Client’s participants who meet the participation criteria for Class A Participants set forth on Exhibit B (the “Class A Participants”) and for Client’s participants who meet the participation criteria for Class B Participants set forth on Exhibit B (the “Class B Participants”). (The Class A Participants and the Class B Participants are sometimes hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Participants”.) Client acknowledges and agrees that the Medical Professionals and certain Medical Assistants provided by Novia for the Clinic hereunder are independent contractors and, as such, are not the agents of Novia and are not controlled by Novia; provided, however, that certain Medical Assistants may be employees of Novia. Novia shall not commit to provide any particular person as a Medical Professional or a Medical Assistant, and Novia shall have the right at any time and from time to time, with or without cause, to change a Medical Professional or a Medical Assistant provided to the Clinic. Novia shall consult with Client concerning the number of Medical Professionals and Medical Assistants necessary to perform services at the Clinic. Client shall have the opportunity to interview all final candidates for the positions of Medical Professional and Medical Assistant identified by Novia. Client shall also have the right to require Novia to remove a Medical Professional or a Medical Assistant, with or without cause upon prior written notice, which notice shall specify the time by which the Medical Professional or the Medical Assistant shall be removed.

  • Chiropractic Services This plan covers chiropractic visits up to the benefit limit shown in the Summary of Medical Benefits. The benefit limit applies to any visit for the purposes of chiropractic treatment or diagnosis.

  • Medical There shall be an open enrollment period for medical coverage in each year of this Agreement. An employee may elect no medical coverage during any open enrollment period. An employee who has elected no medical coverage may elect medical coverage during an open enrollment period. No pre-existing condition limitations will apply.

  • Medical Services Plan 10.1.1 Regular Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time Employees shall be entitled to be covered under the Medical Services Plan commencing the first day of the calendar month following the date of employment.
