Common use of Meeting Contract Load Clause in Contracts

Meeting Contract Load. Contract load may be met during fall and spring terms; up to 3 LHE assigned during winter intersession may be applied toward fall semester load, and up to 6 LHE assigned during winter intersession may be applied to spring semester load. Professors who elect to meet a portion of the contract load during the winter intersession may teach a maximum of 10 LHE for the intersession, with any portion of the load not assigned to the contract designated as an overload to be paid at the appropriate hourly rate.
