Common use of Meeting Dockets Clause in Contracts

Meeting Dockets. A docket indicating the cases scheduled to be heard at each Committee meeting will be furnished by the designated docketing representative at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the date of each meeting. Copies are to be provided to the Office of Administration (Bureau of Employee Relations); Association, Mechanicsburg office; and the appropriate agency (or agencies). Once the docket has been prepared by the docketing representative and distributed to all interested parties, no additional cases can be added to the docket for that meeting, unless agreed upon by the parties. If the Co-Chairperson of the Association or the Co-Chairperson of the Commonwealth mutually agree that a case may be heard by the Committee on short notice, then such case will be placed on a supplemental docket prior to the Committee meeting. A discharged employee, or employees in cases of conflicting seniority claims, shall be notified by the Association within a reasonable time prior to the hearing of the time and place of the grievance meeting, and of the employee's rights, including the right to be present at such hearing. In the event the Association does not give notice to the employee, the Committee nevertheless, may in its discretion hear and decide the case. However, in the event the case is not heard, no further liability shall accrue to the Commonwealth.
