Middle School Science Teachers Assistance. When enrollment in a middle school science class exceeds the threshold set forth in Section 11.3 above, and a lab is going to be conducted in which special safety precautions are needed to ensure student safety due to the use of dangerous equipment or chemicals, a science teacher may request a site administrator to provide additional supervision support and provided the site administrator is in agreement, the site administrator shall use his/her best efforts to provide such support.

  • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. Employees who wish to enroll in job-related and promotion oriented courses, which will improve their job knowledge, and performance will be compensated by the District for expenses as follows:

  • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel.   • Educational Assistance To qualify for reimbursement, an employee must be a regular employee upon enrollment. To be approved, the courses described below must be related to the employee's present position or career development:

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Peer Assistance and Review Program 1. MCEA and MCPS agree to jointly operate a Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Program. The PAR Program is a mechanism for maintaining systemwide quality control and ensuring that all MCPS teachers responsible for teaching students are functioning at or above the high MCPS standards of performance. It provides intensive assistance for any teacher who has not yet achieved that standard or who falls below acceptable standards. Assistance and review are provided to both experienced MCPS teachers in need of significant improvement and teachers in their first year of teaching.
