Common use of Military Leave With Pay Clause in Contracts

Military Leave With Pay. SECTION 1. Employees who are members of the Ohio National Guard, the Ohio Defense Corps, the Ohio Naval Militia, or are members of the Reserve Forces of the United States Armed Forces are entitled to military leave of absence from their duties, without loss of pay or benefits, for such time as they are in the military service on field training or active duty for a period not to exceed thirty-one (31) days in any one calendar year. The maximum number of hours for which payment can be made in any one calendar year is one hundred seventy-six (176) hours. SECTION 2. A copy of the military orders, or notice to report, shall be submitted to the Employer prior to the effective date of orders.
