Common use of Monitoring and Evaluation Methodology Clause in Contracts

Monitoring and Evaluation Methodology. The Agency will review and evaluate the performance of the Contractor under the terms of this contract. Monitoring shall be conducted through direct contact with the Contractor through telephone, in writing, and/or on-site visit(s). The primary, secondary, or signatory of the contract must be available for any on-site programmatic monitoring visit. The Agency’s determination of acceptable performance shall be conclusive. The Contractor agrees to cooperate with the Agency in monitoring the progress of completion of the service tasks and deliverables. The Agency may use, but is not limited to, one or more of the following methods for monitoring: a. Desk reviews and analytical reviews; b. Scheduled, unscheduled, and follow-up on-site visits; c. Client visits; d. Review of independent auditor’s reports; e. Review of third-party documents and/or evaluation; f. Review of progress reports; g. Review of customer satisfaction surveys; h. Agreed-upon procedures review by an external auditor or consultant; i. Limited-scope reviews; and j. Other procedures as deemed necessary by the Agency.
