Common use of MSP Observers Clause in Contracts

MSP Observers. The MSP may in its discretion, send an observer to any committee acting in the tenure and promotion process. The observer may interpret in a professional manner the actions of the committee observed to candidates and may give their impressions of the reasons for a particular committee action. (Requests for observers shall be made to the MSP Chair or other MSP designated officers.)
