Common use of Mutual Pledge of Accord Clause in Contracts

Mutual Pledge of Accord. Inherent in the relationship between the City and its employees is the obligation of the City to deal justly and fairly with its employees and of the employees to cooperate with their fellow employees and the City in the performance of its public service obligation. In the interest of promoting and ensuring harmonious relations between the City and its employees, authorized representatives of the City and the Union have met and conferred in good faith, exchanging various proposals concerning wages, hours, working conditions, and other terms and conditions of employment of the employees.
