National Board Certification Grants Sample Clauses

National Board Certification Grants. A teacher in the seventh year of continuous employment with the District may request a matching grant of up to $1,000 for the purpose of earning a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification. Requests and approval will be coordinated by the Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment. A grant recipient who fails to satisfactorily complete the certification process within 24 months or fails to continue to teach in the District shall be obligated to refund the amount of the matching grant.
