Common use of Negotiation Leave Clause in Contracts

Negotiation Leave. The Employer shall allow two (2) employees time off with pay for the purpose of attending negotiations for the renewal of the Collective Agreement. The Employer shall pay each employee their regular days’ pay for each day they are required to be in attendance at negotiations. The Employer will then bill the Union for all lost wages and the Union will remit payment promptly.

Negotiation Leave. The Employer shall agrees to allow two (2) employees time off off, with pay pay, for the purpose of attending negotiations for the renewal of the Collective Agreement. The Employer shall pay each employee their regular days’ eight (8) hours' pay to said employees for each such day they are required to be in attendance at negotiations. The Employer All costs will then bill be billed to the Union for all lost wages and the Union will remit payment promptlybe paid within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice.

Negotiation Leave. The Employer shall allow two (2) employees time off with without pay for the purpose of preparing and/or attending negotiations for the renewal of the Collective Agreement. The Employer shall will pay each employee their regular days’ pay for each day said employees as if they are required to be in attendance had been at negotiations. The Employer will then bill the Union for all lost wages work and the Union will remit payment promptlyagrees to reimburse the Employer for any payments in regard to wages and benefits (including for clarity, contributions for group insurance, RRSP, EI, CPP, WCB, HET or other statutory remittances) paid to the employee(s).

Negotiation Leave. The Employer shall agrees to allow two one (21) employees employee per department time off with pay for the purpose of attending negotiations for the renewal of the Collective Agreement. The Employer shall will pay each employee their regular days’ pay the employees on such leave for each day the hours they are required to be in attendance would normally have been at negotiationswork on such days had they not been on negotiation leave. The Employer will then bill the Union for all lost wages and the Union will remit payment promptlywithin thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the invoice.

The Employer shall pay each employee their regular days’ pay for each day they Employees who are required on negotiation leave will continue to be in attendance at negotiationspaid by the Employer as if they had worked. The Employer will then bill the Union accordingly for the entire cost for lost time, including all lost wages and the Union will remit payment promptlybenefits, etc.
