Common use of New Employee Interview Clause in Contracts

New Employee Interview. All new employees will have the opportunity to meet with a representative of the Union in the employ of the Employer for a period of up to fifteen (15) minutes during the employee’s probationary period, without loss of regular earnings. The purpose of such meeting will be to acquaint the employee(s) with such representative of the Union and the Collective Agreement. These interviews will be scheduled in advance and may be arranged collectively or individually by the Employer. Whenever possible, the Employer will provide the Union with seven (7) days’ notice of the interview time.
