Common use of Night Sleep Shift Clause in Contracts

Night Sleep Shift. (a) The night sleep shift shall be from midnight to 6am and will be deemed four (4) hours work for the purposes of the collective agreement. (b) An Employee working a night sleep shift shall receive a stipend of $70.00 for that shift or six (6) times the Nova Scotia minimum wage rate, whichever is greater.

(b) An Employee working a night sleep shift shall receive a stipend of $70.00 for that shift or six equivalent to eight (6) 8) times the Nova Scotia minimum wage rate, whichever is greater.

(a) The night sleep shift shall be from midnight to 6am a ten (10) hour period between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM, and that ten (10) hour night sleep will be deemed to be four (4) hours work for the purposes purpose of the collective agreementCollective Agreement. The two (2) active hours shall be paid at the purposes regular rate of the collective agreement. (b) pay. An Employee employee working a night sleep shift shall receive a stipend of $70.00 for that shift or six (6) times be paid the Nova Scotia minimum wage rate, whichever is greaterrate for each sleep hour.
